These donuts were so simple to make and the kids LOVED them. One thing I found especially nice was it worked with coconut sugar. I like using this sugar because it’s low glycemic, and I find that keeping Jeremiah’s sugar levels down helps him with his attitude and how basically he handles life. Less hyper! Honestly, it probably helps Noah too. It’s just more noticeable with Jeremiah.
These are absolutely DELICIOUS! A have already made them twice since finding the recipe. They really are perfect for this time of year, because they remind me of a fall/winter cake. I think it’s the nutmeg in them. Regardless, they will make you want more! So BE careful! They STILL have calories.
I made another donut a while back, and though they were extremely good, I like these better. They are not TOO sweet, and yet sweet enough. Yep, so far these are my favorite homemade donuts.
