It’s nice to be back up and running again. It’s strange to see NO visitors on Jetpack!!
I think this redesign is elegant, and was fun to work on. I used a template called Craftiness Theme from Studiopress. If you want to compare, check it out by clicking Craftiness Theme.
I’ve learned a lot with this change, and loved every minute of it!
One thing particularly neat is the categories. If you click each one it’s all aligned in pictures. That was the main feature I wanted with Craftiness. Now you can see pictures of all the recipes in a nice order. I’m loving it!
With this new site design, I also decided to throw out a major discount to the sidebar ads.

Recently I read a blog post about writing blog posts. Always interesting reads. ;) It got me thinking. When you sit down with someone, who are you sitting with and talking to.
It was geared more for business, but it made me think more about my writing style, and maybe how to make it more personal. Written to you. You are the one reading this blog, therefore I don’t want to be so distant and sound dry Does that make sense?
It’s not a New Years resolution, but something I am going to try to change a bit in my writing style.

I was excited to switch over to Mad Mimi(email). I was going to use Mail Chimp, but for the life of me, I can’t figure that mail system out very well. So confusing! Mad Mimi is totally simple, and found out it was free for so many contacts and emails sent out. 
Perfect option! I love sending a pretty email now.
