LOVE these classes!

Hide and Seek, Jeremiah Style

A few days ago Jeremiah thought it would be fun to plan hide and seek with his mommy and daddy. Noah of course was included.

I love the way he plays. It’s adorable. But then, I think there really isn’t much this kid does that isn’t in some way adorable.

Out of the blue he says “Mommy, Daddy you hide, I find”  We got the queue and went off to hide. The difference is Jeremiah will “count to 20″ haha, and half way through counting he will either open his eyes, or run out of his room (if he was counting there) to just peek, then run back.

It’s pretty entertaining.   Also, the way he counts to 20:  Now he actually CAN count to 20, but when playing this game it’s different. “1, 2, 3, 4 …” and he spouts of the rest in what seems like one long number and is off. Needless to say, we have to hide FAST.

He loves the search. Even if it’s simple, he just beams with joy at finding us.

I decided to hide in a “harder” spot. So I choose his bed. I just laid down on it, and covered with all his blankets.

Adam was found fast, and then helped Jeremiah to find me. It was SOOOO hard not to laugh!

“Mommy! Mommy! Where is he?”  Then Adam would say, “Jeremiah, Mommy isn’t a he, she is a SHE”

“Mommy! Mommy!” he kept saying. He walked into his room, and couldn’t find me. He looked in his closet and I wasn’t there. He even went to his bed uncovered the top blanket (I was under all of them, the top blanket and sheet) and said “No Mommy” I then couldn’t take it, I giggled.

Adam said his face lite up and he started to burst into laughter. “I found it!” lol It, being me. 😉

Noah just played along, enjoying all the fun. Someday he will play with us. I can’t wait.

It’s quite fun playing hide and seek with the kids.

What fun things do you do with your children?

Have a pleasant Tuesday!
