Valentines day is coming!
My family had a nice little get together already with a very delicious homemade dessert.
I was thinking about Valentines day, and how we actually have no plans..
It’s fun to do something special ON Valentines day, but when I actually think about my husband, it’s almost like every day is Valentines day in a way. Mind you, I don’t get chocolate covered strawberry’s (something I really am craving lately
), flowers or chocolates and such everyday, I have a wonderful man who does SO much for me, it’s amazing.
He doesn’t complain, but takes care of me every step of the way. He’s done laundry for me, taken care of the boys when I needed a break, made breakfast for us, gone on short notice errands even when it’s not convenient. I can’t begin to name all the wonderful things my husband does on a daily basis.
I am beyond words thankful for my wonderful husband. He is a wonderful father, husband and friend.
I am sure on the night of Valentines day we will sit at my computer, enjoy a sparking cider, while watching either “Lie to me” or catch up on “Downton Abbey” (I’ve already seen them all, he just wants to watch them now.
)
While it’s something we do often, I can’t think of any place I’d rather be. Sitting next to my best friend and the love of my life. Moments together, regardless of what we are doing, are special to me.
So, as Valentines day approaches, I am reminded of every sweet glance at the dining table, the knowing look when one of our kids is either cute or acting up, the fun conversations we have each night as we recall our day. All the moments we have spent together in the last 8 years.
He is truly a gem, and I am thankful he’s mine.

Isn’t is wonderful when you can have the feeling of Valentine’s everyday! I am a firm believer that we should show our loved ones how much they mean to use everyday. I am so happy you have such a wonderful loving husband.

It truly is.
And I completely agree, letting them know how much we love them each day is always a good thing.
I think Adam is a great guy! :O) I think he is a great daddy too. :O) We both married great guys, didn’t we? :O)
Oh yes we did!
Adam sounds like a really great guy. Good for you. Yes, men should make their woman feel special everyday, and not just on Valentine’s Day. Although, it’s perfect excuse to be even more romantic.
