It’s my birthday, and in honoring of turn 31, I wrote this poem. 
Over 30
Gone are the days of “I am in my 20′s”
Here come the days, of the mid 30′s
Once energy seemed to come so easily
Now it’s as if I always run on empty
My skin, I can’t say has wrinkled away
Yet, gray hairs are showing each and everyday day
It is not so bad, I suppose I could admit
I have wonderful family, with lots of love to fill it
So done are the day’s of my 20′s
Here of the days of my 30′s
I’ll enjoy the moments as they come
My birthday with family, being one
Because fleeting is life, and one day
it’s gone

haha I imagine I’ll still be bothered by 40s, even though 30 has hit me hard. Really it’s ANYTHING past the 20s, when we were young and felt we go do anything.. It’s like reality hits us at 30.
