I was overjoyed when I tried zucchini spaghetti and loved it. I am a major lover of Italian foods, and have been slightly sad to give up eating lots of noodles. If you hadn’t gathered from my recent recipes popping up, I am going a bit more healthy with my meal choices. 😉
I learned about Zucchini Spaghetti in a video. In order to get a good “noodle” from the zucchini, I recommend getting one of these cutters. It’s the one we use and it works beautifully!
It’s SO simply to make zucchini spaghetti!!
I am also happy to report my husband loves it! (not my children, but I am hoping they will get on board someday. 😉 )
First you wash the Zucchini. I like to cut them in half for ease. Put them on the slicer and viola! Zucchini spaghetti!
While you are doing that, I’d heat up your favorite spaghetti sauce. Once the noodles are cut, simply put them on a dish or in a bowl and top with the sauce.
I’d serve this with a bread of some sort, but it’s also just fine by itself making a GREAT carb free dish. Not to mention, a very healthy one at that!
